The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in close co-operation with the Embassy of the Republic of Germany in Kosovo, will hand over Kosovo Police and the Forenzic Agency equipment for control of small and light arms today at the facilities of the Kosovo Agency of Forenzice.
During this event, Kosovo Security Programme (KSSP) i The UNDP will hand over equipment that will improve the work of the Kosovo Forenzica and Police Agency. The assistance also includes training relevant personnel for the proper use of donated equipment.
Germany's Ambassador, U.S. Christian Heldt, UNDP Permanent Deputy Representative Mrs. Alessandra Roccalsalvo, Deputy Director for Resources in Kosovo Police, Dejan Jankovic, Chief Executive Chief of the Kosovo Agency of Forenzice, Blerim Oluri, and Interior Affairs Ministry representatives.
Equipment and training were enabled through the generous contribution of the German Foreign Office.
