The unusual event happened in Texas. Driver Greg Beauregard was filming along a highway in San Antonio when, suddenly, two vehicles in front of him suddenly changed lanes as he crashed into the wooden shelf that stood in the middle of the road.
Beauregard was caught unawares and crashed into the furniture, cutting it to pieces along the highway.
The crash occurred about 3:20 Friday.
Bearegard uploaded the video on Saturday saying: We need to take care of those wild tables running down our highways in San Antonio.
It is not clear how the bookshelf ended up on the highway.
