The bride Zeynep Giriklioğlu has attracted citizens' attention after she arrived at the hotel and tourism high school in the town of Tekirdağlu to vote
A bride in Turkey's Tequirdag town prior to the wedding ceremony has gone to vote in the wedding dress in presidential elections and the 27 parliamentary elections being held today, reports Anadolu Agency (AA).
The bride Zeynep Giriklioğlu has attracted citizens' attention after she arrived at the hotel and tourism high school in the town of Tekirdağlu to vote.
Zeynep, who has voted in the 1424 voting box in a statement for AA, has indicated that her husband, Cha rı. Giriklioğlu is not with him because he will vote in Istanbul.
After announcing that she had come before the wedding ceremony to vote in order to fulfill her duty as citizen, Giriklioğlu said: “The wedding date was set six months ago, and it's a coincidence that the wedding was due to elections. It's a different feeling to vote in your wedding dress. We never thought of that. I hope everything is for the good of our country. Once I vote, I'm going to go to the wedding.”
