US Ambassador to Kosovo Greg Delaway has expressed his concern over the political impact of courts in Kosovo.
This comment, Ambassador Delawi has made under the week “Against Corruption”, which is being held under the organisation of the coalition of the Nongovernmental Organisations (OJQ) in Kosovo.
“I am concerned about political influence over courts in Kosovo. I hope this coalition will seek progress in rule of law. Fighting corruption has been a priority we'll offer moral support to those friends who share our thoughts”, Delawie is expressed in his opening address.
Delaway has called for continued work in fighting corruption.
“Corruption is deeply rooted. It cannot be eradicated overnight or year. Progress is impossible without persistence. I have to keep working. We have corruption in public procurement that hinders investments”, the American ambassador to Kosovo has added further.
