President Bekim Colaku's adviser has reconfirmed Thaci's statement that compromises will be made with Serbia.
But he has made it known that at the moment they cannot be made public either by Kosovo or by Serbia.
“The agreements have always been reached by compromise. This time it will happen. But don't expect Kosovo and Serbia to show what compromises will be until the end of the” dialogue, Colak has said.
However, he has said the outcome of the dialogue will not bring less than mutual recognition.
Anyone who thinks the president is against dialogue and compromise will remain disappointed. Elements of international agreements will also be implemented in the Kosovo-Serbia agreement. But the outcome of the dialogue will not be less or more than mutual recognition”, Colak has told Express.
According to him, Kosovo remains ready for dialogue and compromise, adding that Kosovo has never emerged from this.
Kosovo has always been and remains ready for dialogue and compromise. That's right today, tomorrow and always, because we've never lost out on the dialogue. On the contrary, Kosovo has always been victorious when it was part of the dialogue and loss processes when it was not included”, the president's adviser, Colak, has said.
He has said dialogue and compromise are the only way to move forward.
Therefore, whoever expects the president means that Kosovo is not ready for dialogue and compromise for reaching the final agreement will remain disappointed. Dialogue and compromise are the only way to move forward in realising our vision of Euro-Atlantic integration”, Colak stressed.
