Chekhia raises soldiers in missions abroad

Parliament decided to increase the number of Czech soldiers in missions abroad from 806 currently at 1081 in 2018, 1.191 in 2019 and 1,096 in 2020, mainly in Afghanistan, Iraq, Mali and the Baltic countries.

“We will act in the states where we are currently, and we will increase our presence on several missions, like other countries”, Defence Minister Carla Slechova said on the ministry's online page.
