The number of cases with infectious diseases in Kosovo continues to be high. Statistics of over 80,000 cases in just one month of this year testify.
According to officials at the National Institute of Health, these infectious diseases are mainly respiratory and acute diarrhea.

In April 2017, 8563 cases of infectious diseases were reported, while in 2018, 8 743 cases of infectious disease were reported. This number of cases is common at this time of year, and there is no signifiable difference between the two years”, says the IKSH response to Indexline.
Fortunately, though, no new infectious disease has yet been reported this year.
