At least 19 people were killed in a new confrontation between Myanmar's army and an ethnic armed group north of Shan State.
“Nine people were killed as a result of the war”, a military source reported, adding that dozens of them were injured, reports The Guardian”, broadcast Periscope.
The human rights group said that facing northern Myanmar near the border with China has threatened the international community that has had the Roingya crisis in the western part of the country as a focus.
Thousands of people have moved north of Kachin State since April, when wars between the military and the rebels have begun to take off.
Saturday's war has taken place between the Army and the Army of the National Liberals of Ta '%ang, a rebel group fighting for autonomy in the north of the country./Periscopi/
