Thaci has indicated he has received Germany's support for Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic path.
We are not afraid of Kosovo's European future, but we want to move faster. It was confirmation of Chancellor Merkel in the process of Kosovo's integration into the European Union, and visa liberalisation. Kosovo has met all conditions. The safe way has been opened for Kosovo for concrete European future”, Thaci has declared in an interview for Klan Kosova.
Thaci has indicated that he has asked Germany and Merkel to push ahead with the negotiation process between Kosovo and Serbia, towards reaching a final agreement, which would result in mutual recognition, and Kosovo's membership in the UN, Periscope reports.
“Biseda has been very conservative, in exchange of ideas for the steps we should take as Kosovo, with the possibility that Germany and Chancellor Merkel herself will help Kosovo. I also asked Germany to play its active role, but also personally Mrs. Merkel to engage in reaching the final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, which would be concluded with mutual recognition, and Kosovo's membership in the United Nations Organisation”, Thaci has declared.
Thaci has denied there will be exchange of territories with Serbia, as a goal of normalising Kosovo-Serbia reports. /Periscopi/
