Thaci has called this move unacceptable, saying it opposes the sports spirit and elementary rules of the International Karate Federation.
Serbia is trying to politicise the sport, which should bring people together and not create divisions among them”, Thaci wrote.

Banning the participation of Kosovo karate players at the European Championship for Seniors in Novi-Sad by Belgrade authorities is unacceptable is against the sports spirit and elementary rules of the International Karate Federation.
With such behaviour, Serbia is trying to politicise the sport, which should unite peoples rather than create divisions among them
