Ahmeti has said he is not informed of any investigation the State Prosecutor is making.
“There's no investigation into me, I'm not your day, I don't know just if it's last year that the parties sent, they sent a huge number of stories, which were last year, I was interviewed several times, but not as a suspect”, Ahmeti told the Iseder.
While spokesman to the State Prosecutor, Ekrem Lutfiu has said the case with Pristina municipality chairman is in the preliminary phase of the investigation.
Shpend Ahmeti's “Act regarding employment in the Pristina municipality is in the phase of preliminary investigations”, Lutfiu has said February.
In August last year, the Kosovo Democratic Party, (PDK) branch in Pristina, had made criminal speculation against Shpend Ahmeti and several municipal directors.
According to the PDK, handing over the threat involved employing 486 militants of the Vetevendosje Movement in the Pristina municipality.
