According to a survey conducted by agency “Factor Plus”, resolving the Kosovo issue is not a top priority for Serbs. They have put together the country's economic development, broadcasts Koha.net script published today in the daily “Politika”
The largest number of citizens of Serbia, 92 percent of them considered the country's economic development to be top priority in Serbia. The priorities also consider political stability, as 86 percent of the researchers of this research by the Factal Plus have been declared. Social justice and solidarity are followed by 78 percent, while resolving the Kosovo issue has placed 46 percent of respondents at priority. For Serbia's membership in the European Union, 36 percent has been declared, while for development of democracy, 14 percent.
According to these percentages, the Kosovo issue is not one of the main ones for the citizens of Serbia, but the director of the Financial Agency Plus was quoted as saying that interest in the issue has marked growth. According to him, just 16 per cent of citizens had declared that the Kosovo issue should be resolved an hour ago.
This research was conducted from May 2nd to May 6, while 1,040 residents participated.
