About two thirds of Swedes say they could manage in a society that does not even use money.
The customs of the Swedish ways of payment are collected by annual data, and in recent publication, 7 out of 10 people have claimed they could live without paying cash.
This statistics are not so surprising if we mention that the same survey has pointed out that only one in eight persons (13 percent) has used cash for the latest purchases. In 2010 that figure was 30 percent.
Four out of ten people have not used cash in the last month.
Sweden's central bank has declared it is the behavior of the public that is exercising influence on the need to change access to money use. Between 2006 and 2016, the withdrawals of money from ATMs have been halved.
Two thirds of Sweden's merchants believe that they will not accept cash ready after 2030.
