Two Pristina villages returned water supply for Ramadan's sake

CRU” Pristina” sh.a. has announced consumers of the village of Makovc and Lunar that during today's month, for the sake of the month of Ramadan, water network maintenance teams will sabotage the pipe damage and repair of the valve.

This company through a media report has said they are doing so despite its responsibility to address the situation.

“Consumptions of the village of Makovc and Lunar have been faced with a lack of drinking water for about two months, not because of the break from the water network system due to service default, but because of damage to the valve and the main pipe. The damage was caused by irresponsible persons, with substantial flow of drinking water as a result, with case forced to cut water supply for village consumers in question”, is announced in the report, Kosovo passes.

CRU” Pristina” sh.a. It is improving water and sewer services and calling on all consumers, including consumers of the village of Makovc and Lunar, who:

They respond positively to all financial obligations for water supply and channeling services, in order to avoid breaking down on services, because they are becoming more intense every day, and each consumer is individually obliged to sign contracts for services with the Pristina water supply, on the contrary, the Law does not recognise them as consumers.

All consumers who have benefited from the Law for Forgiveness of Public Debts are urged to strictly respect debt reprogramming contracts, always paying dues under the contract signed by both sides, as well as monthly bills.

- Starting on February 1st 2018, all consumers who have benefited from the Law on Forgiveness of Public Debt and have not been held to the contract for payment of reprogrammed debt will be returned to an forgiven debt based on the Law on Free Public Debt, because it is a legal obligation.
