Since January of this year, when the implementation of the new road traffic law for counterinference began, awareness of the relevant child seating device in vehicles has significantly increased.

If the driver of the vehicle has no child safety seats, he is sentenced to a fine of 100 to 300 euros.
A total of 1143 fines for various offences have been laid from January to April of this year, for not setting a safety belt, 15897 fines have been imposed, while 176 fines have been laid for child safety seats, since 32 fines were imposed by Pristina region police.
According to police, the absence of a special child chair and the non-set seat belt could be fatal for them.
