An international investigative team has said it has discovered solid evidence that a Russian military system has fired the missile that crashed the MH17 plane in eastern Ukraine in 2014, reports Guardian, traces Periscope.
The Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777 was traveling from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur when it was hit and crashed in a conflict zone in eastern Ukraine on July 17, 2014. All 298 travelers were left dead.
The team was composed of prosecutors and policemen from Australia, Malaysia and Ukraine.
At a press conference in Hakka on Thursday, investigators showed photos and videos proving that they have identified the missile system responsible for shooting the plane, Periscopi broadcasts. They said they had <x0) convincing and legal evidence that would be presented to court” for such a thing.
Russian officials have denied their involvement in the incident. /Periscopi
