Gjakova's prosecutor has filed charges against Sami Lushtaku, Dardan Gashi, Andrew Shala and three other men for shooting from the Lima House window, but the same is not yet in their hands.
That's how the Dispora Minister's attorney revealed. Ariani Koci says his client, Dardan Gashi, has not received any material from the prosecution.
“No information I as my protector and client has been linked to the eventual establishment of the act”, Koci said on Sunday for Gazette Express.
Koci considers that in this case the prosecution has committed violations because in his view the establishment of the indictment has first become known to others and then to the accused and defender.
“Practka that for the rise of the indictment everyone knows and then the last one to take over the accused and his defender is a serious legal offense. This practice must cease. Otherwise, the prosecution has filed this indictment by violating the law itself, at the expense of indictees”, Koci said.
So far none of the accused has given any comment on the establishment of the indictment.
The investigation against them had begun after the publication of images where state officials are seen firing guns. That happened when Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj gathered friends and lovers at his oade in Banja, Malisheva, following the release of corruption allegations as a minister of transport.
