Kosovo government responds to Vuciqi for association

Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq has stated that the condition to continue dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia is to form the Association of Serb-run municipalities. But such a statement, apparently, is not disturbing the Government of Kosovo at all.

Government officials have declared that in Kosovo, Vuciqi does not do as he asks or declares.

According to them, the association will be made on the basis of the Constitutional Court's verdict.

The “in Kosovo does not become what Serbian President Vuciq declares, but what is decided by Kosovo's legal institutions. The association will be made exclusively on the basis of the country's Constitutional Court verdict”, the Government's response said.

Meanwhile, in terms of dialogue between the two countries, this response reportedly said that closing the dialogue and mutual recognition would speed up the creation of association.

Meanwhile, country President Hashim Thaci has said during yesterday that Kosovo is willing to continue the latest phase of dialogue with Serbia. /Indesksonline/
