Tens of Pristina citizens who in the early hours of the morning had left for family medical centres in Pristina to get insulin.
Many of them had not already received the vital medicine for diabetes for two months.
Although the Ministry of Health had distributed insulin, they too are limited and do not meet the requirements of all patients who need them.
T.B., in his early 50 ' s, was waiting by hand at the main Family Medicine Centre in Pristina to get an insulin, which, she indicated, has been unable to obtain for two months. She has confessed to “Zerin” that there is a constant lack of this drug, so she is forced to buy it herself at the pharmacy at 10 euros.
I heard they brought insulin and I came to call. I haven't taken two months. There's a lack of insulin and I have to go out and buy it myself at the drug store. I bought them several times and they cost me 10 euros”, she said.
Many other patients, who were waiting in line for insulin, are sharing the same meal with him.
Don't expect too much, because there's still a lack of insulin”, one of the patients said as soon as he got out of the front door of the primary Family Medicine Center in Pristina.
