Haradinaj: Prizren municipality must not be blocked

In this case, Prime Minister Haradinaj said he is here, at one of the largest centres in Kosovo, to learn the real situation closely and see what the Kosovo Government's duties for the further development of this city are.

The prime minister said obstacles should be removed from this municipality, so that it can move into an urban and developmental plan, and at the same time, support must be given to having access to spaces for an industrial park.

“We are optimistic that it will be an incentive for economic development and we are willing to walk in other stages with the industrial park, settle the property issue, and enable the Comunas to move forward”, Prime Minister Hardinaj said.

Prime Minister Haradinaj stressed that during meeting with Chairman Haskuka, there are many topics to be discussed with the highest seriousness, such as education, health, order, where he specified the issue of narcotics and their distribution in schools.

“I assured Haskuka chairman that the country's government, without any hesitation, will carry out what is work of the Government”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said, noting that the municipality should not be blocked because the national level is not doing its jobs.

For his part, President Haskuka, after thanking Prime Minister Haradinaj for his visit and willingness to help the Prizren municipality, cited several challenges such as car parking lots, lack of drinking water in certain areas and building pre-school institutions, which Prime Minister Haradinaj's promise of support.
