The latest Kosovo Justice Commission broadcast research that brought details on how secretly and quietly four KEK hydropower plants were sold to KEDS along with the distribution and distribution.
The Decision hydro power plant, The Source Hydrocentral, the Radovac and Lumbardzi are granted with concessions by KEK with the aim of revising them and increasing production capacities.
At the time they were rented, according to KEK, they had an installed capacity of 11 megawatts, but concessions have pledged that after investments making their capacity would increase to 14 megawatts.
KED's Government Commission for Privatisation has participated: Besim Beqaj, Minister of Economic Development Mimoza Kusari-Lila, Minister of Trade and Industry Bedri Hamza, Finance Minister Dardan Gashi, Environment and Spatial Planning Minister and Labour and Social Management Minister Nenad Rassic.
These ministers in Kosovo's “Directorate declared they did not know these plants are being privatised as well.
We did not know, nor did we ever discuss it at meetings at that time”, they have declared.
