Pristina University has pledged to fight nepotism in the selection of the UP's academic staff during the selection of academic staff, Koha Ditore writes today.
To prevent such a thing, the University Ethics Council has issued a guide to UP's standards and ethical principles regarding avoiding nepotism and preventing conflict of interest in academic staff selection procedures for new positions.
The map of this guideline has been made since months earlier the Ombudsman had raised opinions about preventing nepotism at Pristina University. Likewise, the Kosovo Institute for Justice (IKD) and the Institute for Development Policy (INDEP) had given it UP's recommendations to prevent this phenomenon at the largest public university in Kosovo.
