Ferizaj Mayor Visits Residents After the Flood

The vast amount of water has penetrated basements of homes, workplaces, factory halls and other businesses, causing damage to both materials and tools.

The situation in general is towards stabilisation following the improved weather and immediate actions of emergency teams by municipal authorities.

In these field operations, public companies in Ferizaj are engaged in all their capacities. Roads both in villages and in the city are cleared of items that have been exhuming yesterday. Since yesterday's afternoon, it has been constantly working on opening drains, and the situation is already under full control by municipal authorities.

Ferizaj's chairman said that such a situation with such heavy rainfall is not always remembered in our country, and the damages caused are significant especially in business, agricultural cultures and private residential sites.

He said, among other things, that all local emergency mechanisms have been activated since yesterday's afternoon, and that there are constantly reports of the damage suffered by citizens where professional teams are conducting visits, thus weighing and writing damages caused by yesterday's storm.
