Decani municipality response: Serbian Orthodox Church frauds excessive

The Decani municipality has announced that during yesterday the company, which is doing the work on Decan Street border with Montenegro, has removed stones from the particular area from the mud slide, which have occurred as a consequence of the construction of hydropower plants in the particular area.

On 24 April, works on the Decan Bjelka of Beleg-in Montenegro border have begun outside the special protected zone.

In this case, the Decani municipality and the Ministry of Infrastructure are guarantors that this project will continue out of the protected zone until a decision is reached by KZM (The Council for Implementation and Monitoring), where representatives in this council on modern absurdity are five institutions including the Decani Monastery and that the Decani Community is not one of them.

During yesterday's day, the company, which is doing operations outside the particular area, has taken the stones off the street within the separate area from the mud slide, which has happened as a consequence of the construction of hydro-power plants in the particular area with the consent of the monastery, which under the Law is strictly forbidden activity.

The slides and stones have been removed in order to make this road a dead end and safe for the company and the many citizens who cross this road.

This human and necessary activity is emerging that the monastery staff has waited for an opportunity to make their next fraud.

The building objectives of this road are: peaceable, in line with the purpose of the Law for the specific protected areas, in accordance with the visual and aesthetic framework of the area, in line with the preservation of cultural heritage , archaeological, architectural, and in the function of preserving and promoting natural heritage. This development of modernisation-alfortification of the existing road is a favourable development for all communities.

We citizens of Decani today even in earlier times have co-existed by respecting the mosaic of religious cultural heritage, which has not occurred in all historical periods from the monastery towards Albanian citizens of Decani.

The only concept that leads the citizens of the Decani municipality is the developmental concept and the use of potential and resources, the easier access to them to a better standard for life and for our families.

That's what it is and it'll be our only goal without cheating others.

In this case, the monastery staff better be together with our concept and put away malicious intentions against the 70 thousand citizens of the Decani municipality.

As for property donated by the Serbian genocide state led by Slobodan Milosevic in 1994-1997 and given to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo , we appreciate that the Decani Monastery had to seek this property exclusively from the citizens of the Decani municipality.

For one thing, we're sure that citizens of the Decani municipality have not been led by chauvinist ideas and the promoting of wars at all times.
