According to the military team it was reported that several images were captured by satellites near the island of Woody, the largest of the Paracell Islands to hold Chinese military headquarters, reports “Sputnik International” Transmission Periscope.
Beijing claims the island of Nansha is made to be rich in gas and oil. The Philippines, Taiwan, Malaysia, Brunei, and Vietnam also claim to have access to that territory. The island of Paracell, also known as Xisha Island, is opposed by Taiwan and Vietnam.
A report released earlier by the “Asia Times” wrote that Beijing built another base in Sanya, a town on the island of Hainan, located in the South China Sea./Periscopi/
