Experts for Syria from the United Nations have warned another Aleppo-style humanitarian disaster that could happen in Idlib this time, the Guardian reports, Periscope follows.
Idlib is the last great territory left in the hands of the rebels. In part, it is under the control of Haytt Tarhrir al-Sham, a group of jihadists whom Russia and the Syrian government consider to be the legitimate ferry in an area where civilians and fighters continue to leave the country as part of the evacuation agreement in other parts of the country.
Jan Egeland, head of the UN Task Force for Syria, said: “All my energy recently and in the coming weeks are dedicated to avoiding a new humanitarian catastrophe. ”

He described Idlibin as “a giant area of shifting”. “More than the population disability in Idlib 2 million has already been displaced, so the end of the conflict in Idlib must be negotiated. You can't have a war in the middle of the world's largest refugee camp,” he said. /Periscopi
