In the past trial of three of the accused, Besim Shaban, Egzon Latifi and Artan Kadriu used the right to defend in silence.
Meanwhile, the other two defendants, Bekim Halili and Jenny Haydini, chose to speak before the Court about what they said to be the truth.
The accused Hadi Nura is the only one left to provide his own protection and will then proceed with the final word.
Kosovo Special Prosecutor Betim Ibrahimaj, Adil Bush, Egzon Latif, Jetmir Bush, Artan Kadriut, Bekim Halil, Zijadin Berisha, and Living Haydini had filed an indictment on May 7th 2015.
Hadi Nura, Besim Shaban, Betim Ibrahimaj, Adil Bushi, Egzon Latifi, Jetmir Bushi, Artan Kadriu, Bekim Halili, Zijadin Berisha and Jeton Hajdini from the prosecution are accused of criminal organisation and participation in terrorist groups, while memory Bytyqi is charged with illegal weapons.
Even Bekim Halili and Zijadin Berisha, except for participation in terrorist groups, are also charged with illegal weapons.
In past hearings, Artan Kadriu, Zijadin Berisha, Betim Ibrahimaj and Adil Bush have pleaded guilty to criminal work organisation and participation in terrorist groups.
While Metom Bytyqi had pleaded guilty to illegal possession, in part they had pleaded guilty to past hearings Bekim Halili and Zijadin Berisha only for illegal weapons.
