Retirement in the North, Special Unit participates

The Tax Investigation Department (DHTI) and Intelligence this morning has conducted a raid action in Zubin Potok, in four locations under suspicion that illegal activities have been carried out.

The event has been successfully developed and without any problems, where in support of DHTI officials have been Special Unit. The action was conducted with the prosecutor's authorization.

According to the first information from the field, some evidence has been found that certain persons and subjects have been dealt with illegal activities.

Material evidence, such as: The USB and other documentation proving tax evasion, the value of extinguishable bills allegedly issued to be over 4m euros, said in communique.

The Kosovo government expresses commitment to prevent and fight the informal economy. This has been done by drafting and implementing a set of state laws in line with international standards, as well as by establishing the National Strategy for Prevention and Combating Unformal Economy.

The Tax Administration invites all businesses and citizens who exercise any business of business, to adhere to legal requirements in power, to declare and pay taxes under law in effect so that they are not part of criminal penalties, seizures, and sequencing property.
