As foreign media write, this is because Russia has developed several cars destined for senior officials and guards under the “Cortege” project since 2012.

As stated further, the project is a matter of prestige for Moscow, which wants to show that it is able to produce automobiles, with the highest level of security, credibility and design.

According to Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov, the limo destined for senior Russian officials will be ready for daily use later this year.

In this direction, it becomes known that the vehicle has just passed the crash tests and the results were <x0-positive”, Manturov was quoted as saying, Telegrafi writes.

“The technologies and knowledge we have developed under this project are effective. The car will be shown in public soon. Experts will be able to take a look at the international automobile fair in Moscow this fall of”, it has added further.

Manturov said he suspected Putin had time for a survey of his next car, and the minister did not say if limousine could be used during the presidential inauguration ceremony in May.

According to the media, Soviet leaders used cars produced in the country as ZIL-41047 for official state purposes, but since 1991 the Kremlin began to purchase German vehicles for its fleet.

In the video below, you can see what Putin's next official car is supposed to be, which was seen somewhere in Moscow.
