Official: Valdete Daka again head of CEC

The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, has appointed Central Election Commission Chairman Valdete Daka.

According to a report, President Thaci has made this decision in support of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, the Law for General Elections in the Republic of Kosovo, as well as the Law for the President of the Republic of Kosovo.

I solemnly declare that she will carry out my duties as head of the Central Election Commission in an honest, loyal, impartial, professional and conscientious manner”, Daka said during her oath.

President Thaci has congratulated President Daka new successes in the work as head of the Central Election Commission.
