Mogher's message ahead of visit to the Balkans

It will visit Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.
The visit will come after discussions on the Western Balkans at the Council for Foreign Affairs, April 16th, Luxembourg, and after adopting the enlargement package, which will be presented by Moghrin along with Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn in Strasbourg on 17 April.
The visit also comes after publishing the Strategy for the Western Balkans, last February, and a month before the EU-BP summit in Sofia on 17 May.
On the eve of this visit, Federica Moghrini said that the Western Balkans is Europe and will be part of the future of the European Union, part of a stronger, more stable and united Union. It is a matter of common interest and responsibility with countries in the region to benefit all citizens. This is the moment to bring about a positive change, in order for transformational progress towards the EU to be irreversible”, writes Atsh.
Moghrin will meet with political authorities, representatives of governments and political parties.
On April 18th, in Skopje, she will participate in an informal meeting of the prime ministers of the Western Balkans.
