Finance Minister Bedri Hamza during his visit to the United States has been hosted at a working meeting by the person in charge of international finance issues and development and senior official at the United States Department of America, Roland De Marcellus.
The minister's cabinet through a media report has shown that Hamza thanks Marcellus for the friendly reception and informs him of Kosovo's progress in the field of finance, fiscal sustainability, public debt management, and positive developments about the state budget for 2018, as well as the challenges facing Kosovo.
It also during the meeting thanks to the United States Government and its agencies, in particular all American taxpayers for the assistance given from the beginning to the present in the development of Kosovo and its citizens, especially in areas which are impacting Kosovo's economic development”, the media report said.
While in charge of international finance issues and development and senior official at the U.S. Department of America Roland De Marcellus, I thank the minister for the visit and spoke happily of meeting with the Minister of Finance of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo. And I commend Minister Hamza for establishing financial discipline and for the progress achieved in all areas, including the finances of the Republic of Kosovo.
The United States' attention and financial assistance to Kosovo has always been and will be available to Kosovo in the future.
