Lulzim Basha: Rama humiliating Kukes, Kosovo

Democratic Party leader Lulzim Basha strongly condemned on Facebook “arrests in the middle of the night of Kukes' citizens and sending them to Tirana”, all committed, according to him, in violation of their fundamental rights.

The prosecutor's and police actions are politically ordered by Edi Rama. The arrests were not made for justice, but to avenge, to intimidate and blackmail the population of Kukes and Kosovo. I strongly condemn public humiliation, insults and contempt that Edi Rama is doing to the citizens of Kukes and Kosovo who protest the double robbery they get and their rights”, Basha wrote.

The police and prosecutors are handing over to drug traffickers and organised crime, but they are being misused against citizens who protest a corrupt tax that robs, deserts and isolates them to enrich Edi Rama and his gang. The National Road tariff has only one purpose: to rob citizens to enrich Edi Rama, who squanders and steals 200m euros in circulation taxes annually for maintenance. Edi Rama must answer why he abuses and does not use these funds for road maintenance. The theft and misuse of the 200m-euro fund is the reason Rama placed the fee from 5 to 32 Euros on Nation Street. One tenth of this maintenance fund would suffice. Rama robbed citizens of the National Road fee to cover the theft of 200m euros a year, Basha added.
