In an interview for Periscope, Ulus has also indicated on one occasion, when a Kosovo taxi driver has apologized to one of his colleagues for what happened to the five teachers and doctors who were expelled to Turkey, through a co-operation between the intelligence service of Kosovo and Turkey.
Ulus, has said that at the school he is conducting, many Kosovars have gone to visit him, describing meetings as scenes of tears and pain.

One of our colleagues took a cab to school and told him to send it to the Mehmet Akif College. He was a driver, a taxi driver, his son or his daughter are not in our school, we had no prior contact with him. He said he's sorry. I'm so sorry we couldn't protect you”. So, some people ask me what we're going to do from now on and I tell them we can't betray anyone who helped and supported us so much, we're going to continue with education in our schools, we're going to go anywhere else”, Ulus said. /Periscopi/
