Sometimes there have been shares to clean them up, but the result continues to be lacking.
And these warehouses for years have been identified by the locals themselves as well as by municipal officials, but it has never been undertaken with the reasoning that there is no funding for such projects.
One is in the village of Tupeq of Istog, for which residents have been complaining in the municipality for 9 years but have taken nothing.
However, the relevant ministries, in co-operation with the German GIZ, have launched the application for citizens' requests and identification of other illegal deposits <x0ndres. com”
Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Albena Resiti said that through this platform the transparency of municipalities will increase.
E, Luan Hasanaj from “initiative Clearing Kosovo”, says it would be better to invest these tools in cleaning up these deposits, as they have been identified for years.
Rosafa Ukimeraj of the Ministry of Management and Local Power said this platform would facilitate citizens' complaints to run in respective municipalities.
But mayors say that each municipality has almost identified these warehouses.
Otherwise, this project is funded by the GIZ, and for this year it has extended a donation of 50 thousand euros.
