They have stressed the need for monitoring the Kosovo Security Force and the Police. This, as in the EC report, has been estimated that monitoring these institutions is insufficient. The Progress Report finds that police capacity for fighting organised crime is good, but that this structure is still subject to corruption and political pressure.
MP Rexhep Selimi, from the Vetevendosje Movement, has said the criticisms that have emerged from this Kosovo security report are the same as those presented before. He mentioned remarks about the KSF.
