The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo is holding extraordinary sessions regarding the deportation of six Turkish citizens to their country.
The head of the Democratic League of Kosovo Parliamentary Group, Avdullah Hoti, has said it is scandalous that after the event with the deportation of Turkish citizens, heads of state on the issue met at a restaurant, Periscopi reports.
Hoti has also mentioned not the dismissal of AKI director Driton Gashi, whom Haradinaj had initially said would be fired.
The prime minister couldn't fire the AKI director. This director didn't even appear at the Parliamentary Commission. The question is which one I report if not the parliamentary commission”, Hoti said.
He has said that the declaration of Parliament Speaker Kadri Wessel, who said this will not be repeated, is not enough for the relatives of deported persons.
Wessel's statement that this will not be repeated again makes no sense to the family members of these people. The human rights violations of these people cannot be repaired with any action the state of Kosovo can take from now on”, Hoti said.
