Gjilan Mayor Lutfi Haziri has responded to a communique of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the branch in Gjilan, which has expressed concern over the failure to continue contracts for 60 health workers at the Domestic Medicine Centre .Nagip Rexhepi).
According to the PDK, the number of displaced workers is the result of Lutfi Haziri's mismanagement.
But the latter in an answer to Periscope said the PDK would rather deal with the files they have in the courts for organised crime, not municipal affairs in Gjilan.
They are very concerned, but let them deal with the files they have in the courts for better organised crime, rather than deal with performing duties in the municipality, Haziri says of Periscope.
Haziri has denied that continued contracts are the work of the municipality, saying the Ministry of Health has done so.
Haziri even says that neither the municipality has received an answer for the non-compliance of contracts for 60 workers and that they are expecting an excuse from the MSH.
The first of the municipality of Gjilan has expressed readiness for these workers to continue contracts 2018-2019.
The Ministry of Health has not signed continued contracts for 2018. We haven't been given a reason either, and we're waiting for reason and we're ready to sign and keep our contracts, 2018-2019, but we still have no negative or positive answers. So besides doing financial obligations, all involved in the past three years have been released from work until the contract is signed, Haziri has said./Periscopi/
