It is 1500m long, but for tourists it is possible to see only 1300m of the cave, as for the rest of the cave, crossings are still not possible.
The Gadima Cave is the most popular cave in Kosovo and is currently the only one prepared for visitors to Kosovo. The cave's richness, which makes it unique, is the presence of aragonites, which are rare phenomena.
Crystals of these cave ornaments are presented at the Aragonites gallery, which is marked by various shapes and directions of alignment that the cave is particularly interesting and attractive.
The Gadima cave is rich in groundwater. On the same horizon are all cavewater types - condensated waters, leaks, currents, and stabilizers, transforming the Gadima cave into unique hydrologic objects.
The Gadima Cave presents unique caretic phenomena not only in Kosovo but even wider. There are other natural phenomena in the cave, such as the lake, which may be 15 to 25 feet [15 to 25 m] in size. The lake is thought to be crossed by boats when fixed. The bottom of the lake is called Cave Fut.
The rare crystals found in this cave are not found in many parts of the world, so these crystals are of European value. From the size of the rise of crystal to one inch for 30,000 years it turns out that the cave is 80,000 years old.
In the cave are many symbols shaped by these crystals: Fish, Skenderbeau Beard, Snake, Romeo of Juliet, etc. /Kultplus/
