Farmers and Milkers Association Welcome MTI's Decision

Today's news that the Ministry of Trade and Industry has imposed temporary safeguard clauses on the import of milk from Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the best news that has occurred in our sector in recent years.

“We have raised several times the voice towards trade inequality between Bosnia and Kosovo, and we are glad that our voice has finally been heard”, said in a response by Kosovo farmers and milkmen.

They thank the MTI for the commitment it has shown recently in this regard, and we expect other decisions aimed at protecting local milk products.

In this case we also call on other institutions responsible for regulation and market control to fulfill their legal obligation and create space for work.
