But during meeting with Serbian counterpart Ivica Dacic, Kotzias had agreed to sing a Greek song in duet.
The negotiator had invited him to a lunch, where while sitting at the table they began singing the famous Greek singer “Giorgos Dalaras “Do not forget my Eyes”.
Excited by the warm welcome, Kotzias had stood up to join the Serbian counterpart, with whom “played” other participants.
But this is not the first time Serbia's diplomatic chief sings to foreign politicians.
Last year during Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan's official visit to Belgrade, Dacic had sung an old Turkish song.
