Jeremy Corbyn, head of the Laborist Party, has accused the government that “is waiting for instructions from Donald Trump” on how to respond to chemical weapons attacks in Syria, Periscope writes.
In a statement, Corbyni also said military intervention of the United Kingdom “jeopardises the escalation of an already highly devastating conflict”.
After May won her cabinet support for the action, Mr. Corbyn said that <x0 administrations should make their proposals, and expand them to parliament”.
He further said that even the basis for intervention was already wavering: “and US Defence Secretary James Mattis said that we have no evidence of chemical attacks and warned that a military attack would lead to an exit out of control of things,” said. Corby.
