PDK deputy Blerta Deliu, who is also chairman of the Commission for European Integration, has reacted to Vetevendosje MP Victory Pacolli's statement, which has said the commission has received signals from the EU office that visa liberalisation will not take place this year.
According to Deliu, Pacolli is totally false.
This is Blerta Deliu's full reaction:
Reaction:
In the quality of the Commission for European Integrations, I want to express my concern over the statement by Victory MP Pacolli after today's meeting of the Commission for Integration.
The meeting has been closed to the media since we have thus agreed to members of the Commission along with Be's Office in Kosovo.
Otherwise, what Mrs. Pacolli has declared is with full responsibility that it is totally false. Today's meeting has taken place in an extremely positive spirit and is also said to have extremely positive signals from Brussels in relation to visa liberalisation. We've discussed progress in “track record” that is in the hands of the judge and we've also talked about in what form the Government's Parliament can assist in the process, which is the prosecution and passage of laws stemming from the SAA and the Progress Report on Kosovo.
The ratification of demarcation in the Kosovo Assembly has been assessed as a very important step.
