The figure was discovered by a regional government, as “Alternative for Germany” ( AfD, a far-right party, opened debates on a person named Sami A.

German media do not report its full name because of legal restrictions on privacy. And although he was one of Bin Laden's closest men, his bodyguard, he denies ties with jihadists.

The deportation to Tunisia has been expelled because he is suspected to be tortured if sent there. Torture, meanwhile, is banned based on the European Convention on Human Rights.

Bin Laden led the jihadist network “al-Qaeda” and approved the September 11th 2001 terrorist attacks in the United States before being shot to death by US Special Forces in Pakistan in 2011.

According to witnesses of an anti-terror trial in Germany in 2005, Sami A. had served for several months during 2000 as one of bin Laden's bodyguards in Afghanistan. He denies it, but judges in Dusseldorf entrusted more witnesses.

Sammy A. It was reported on alleged links to “al-Qaeda”, but was not formally charged. He lives in Bocum along with his German wife and 4 children.

After receiving permission for the temporary residence in Germany in 1999, he underwent several technological courses and moved to Bocum in 2005.

His application for asylum was refused in 2007 because authorities listed it as a security risk. He is said to appear daily at the nearest police station. / TCh
