Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Arber Geci, has asked the chairman The PDK, Kadri Veselini, to dismiss Minister of Innovation and Intervention Besim Beqaj from duty, due to his involvement in a special Prosecution indictment.
Geci, who is official of the PDK partner in the ruling coalition, New Kosovo Alliance (AKR), asked Wessel to use the same standards as the days before when Interior Affairs Minister Flamur Sefaj left office.
“Mayor Kadri Veseli, it's time to apply the same standards! If the MPB minister had to be sacrificed without his blame, today you have the chance to keep your word, without prejudiced to the final decision of Judge”, Geci said in a Facebook post.
The Special Prosecutor today announced that he has filed an indictment against the 11 persons involved in the wiretapping field, pronto.
In this criminal case, eleven people with top official positions are charged -- former deputy MP Ademi Grabovci, current minister Besim Beqaj, current deputy Zenun Pajaziti, two former Secretary General I.G. and J.D., former Deputy Prime Minister F.S., political adviser to MP S.G.G., former Public Company Board Director “Radoconi-Dukani (201) in Gjakova. I.N., former board director of the public company Hidari-droin <2> in Pej, the former head of the Prizren Commission and the former Minister of Health Affairs.
