AKR official: We're a blocking party, we don't tie Sefaj's case to the AKI director.

It was several days after the prime minister's request, Ramush Haradinaj, who Sefaj went on to release duty, following the arrest and deportation that six Turkish citizens allegedly were gylenists.

AKR Secretary General Vesel Makolli has said Sefaj has been the most successful minister, claiming that the request for him to release the minister's office has caused nervousness and anger among them, Klan Kosova reports.

“The AKR has always distinguished itself with the State tradition, sacrificing its own interests in behalf of the state, which does not happen to other parties. We are the ones that have directly influenced the formation of this government, so every action of ours will be first based on the interest of the state and for its own good and the establishment of state image”, Makolli said of the clankosova.tv.

Makolli has declared that the minister's resignation from their party does not link him to the potential resignation of AKI director Driton Gashi, who has been asked the same request by Haradinaj.

“We are not the blocking party, but rather, we should not link the case with the chief of AKI to our minister's” case.

The “Based on all of this and always given the state's interest above all, Flamur Sefaj, has accepted the request for release, even though it was not guilty, but it has been the moral feeling that has prompted him to do so, following the situation created in public opinion. And to contribute to the exit of this situation created without his guilt, he has taken this step to resign”.

Makolli has said Sefaj's move is to be welcomed after that decision he has shown, according to him, that it is a high-level intellectual and cultural personality and that he knows how to make decisions in difficult and appropriate moments.
