Agim Vinca: Kosovo is dying morally

For professor and researcher Agim Vinca, the Kosovo government is short-lived and the country must go to early parliamentary elections to change the situation Kosovo is currently in.

During an interview given to Kosovo Press, Agim Vinca has said corruption, disrespect of the law, lack of economic development and nepotism are serious diseases the Government of Kosovo has.

He has said Kosovo politics has also hit the highest institution of science and art in Kosovo by political factors.

According to the professor, Kosovo citizens as never before have been worse than today, even adding that Kosovo is unfortunately dying morally.

This Government has been hard to complete its mandate for reasons you said for other reasons. That means early elections will be... In Kosovo, there is a need for a new, different policy that highlights development, law enforcement, justice, fighting corruption, fighting nepotism, these are serious diseases that follow the current government and former Kosovo governments. While for the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts, it says that institution is irresponsible to carry out the mission it was established for.

He says the ASHAK has forgotten that the Macedonian Academy has been the institution that has consistently supported the anti-Albanian policy of the Government of Macedonia in the past and in large measure today.

“It is a worthless publication, it is an abuse of funds for Kosovo findings that receives the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts. Besides that our academics do not bear in mind the fact that the Macedonian Academy from its founding and has so far supported the discriminatory policy of the Government of Macedonia towards Albanians... The Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts does not carry out the mission it was established for, even far away from that mission. First of all, there is an institution occupied by a group of people and political parties, where the policy of electing new members has always been with the criteria of friendship, political party affiliation, not the criterion of scientific work assessment... Besides that they have brought a discriminating law that limits access to the Academy after the age of 65, why? Nowhere in the region and the world has such a limit”, Vinca said.

The use of language in public institutions has recently degraded many, with particular emphasis on the Kosovo Parliament, but for the language and literature professor, respect of language must be the principal principle of the Kosovo Parliament, the media and those who live public lives.

He has said that the tongue is continuing to be broken and that it is not being respected at all.

This unscientious and anti-historical tendency, for Professor Vinca, sooner or later, will fail, but the damage that brings and creates confusion, especially in young people.

Vinca says that language except that it is an identifying mark of a nation is a memory and culture.

Sadly, today we go through a serious phase of language transgression, misuse of language, disrespect of it, not just standard Albanian language but general language... ...here in us is a tendency to ignore, bypass, denigration of standard language... ...In institutions around the world speak and is written in national literary language, even this should be the principle of the Kosovo Parliament, the media, institutions and those who make public life”, he said.

The scholar and creator of many scientific, poetic and public books, the young generation of creators in Kosovo, calls them Facebook creators.

According to him, the blame is not left on technology, but it says that the book has been much forgotten, and new creators write more than they read, however, says that talented creators are also found among young creators.

This generation is growing more under the influence of technology, social networks, Facebook and makers of this generation, but almost if not all of them, a huge piece of Facebook creator. There's nothing wrong here, but it's forgetting that the book is the basis of everything. Sadly, we have more people who write that they read, published many books, read few books... Among the young generation makers, there are certainly talented creators with perspectives, but there are many others who follow instant fashions, and one of these trends is also the flight from standard”, Vinca said.

Professor Agim Vinca, in the year we left, gave him 70 years of life and over forty years of productive literary and scientific creativity. He marked his jubilee with three published books, poetry book “Nostalgi for dangerous times”, scientific book “Literary Method”, and publicistic book “Albanians between myth and reality”.
