The VVA's most voted Assemblywoman in the Gjilan municipality of Shabani, through a Facebook post, has announced her resignation by the Assembly Group of the subject.
After six years of engagement in the Movement, I will no longer be part of its structures. However, with a lot of respect for other Movement assemblyists in Gjilan, I hope we will find co-operation space for joint topics in the Parliament”, she wrote.
Shaban has argued with the attack by VV) activists after she had voted differently from the rest.
My “last night's vote in the Municipal Assembly, unlike the group, was of interest to Gnjilane's artists, athletes and youth. It is widely known that at the moment that Lutfi Haziri has eliminated the Directorate of Culture, Youth and Sports, and the Director of Intension, we have criticised him very much like the Movement and the press conferences, and we have requested that those directors return as soon as possible. Not that with their establishment, the problems of artists and athletes will be solved, and urban chaos in Gjilan will be regulated, but that at least we will have the correct address from where we will seek responsibility for these categories and for these problems. So yesterday I voted for the proposal to reopen certain directors. Vote against, for me, would be hypocrisy. I also voted our proposal as a group to investigate the current abuses made in these entities, while there was no director”, Shaban said.
This is her full status:
I have believed that despite recent problems at V We could operate as a joint group in the Communist Assembly of Gjilan. Always considering that none of our assemblies have been involved in that problem, and that we face the common evil, Lutfi Haziri, whom we must fight politically together.
My vote yesterday in the Municipal Assembly, unlike the group, was of interest to Gnjilane's artists, athletes and youth. It is widely known that at the moment that Lutfi Haziri has eliminated the Directorate of Culture, Youth and Sports, and the Director of Intension, we have criticised him very much like the Movement and the press conferences, and we have requested that those directors return as soon as possible. I also voted our proposal as a group to investigate the current abuses that were made in these entities, unless there were directors.
Immediately after the hearing, insults and insults began against me on Facebook, from various Movement activists, even calling me Luta “servant, ”, despite my vote was not crucial, but was the obedient vote on what we have said until today. This is too low, and I never thought it would happen in the movement. The less in Gjilan, in such a small town, where we know each other well and know each other's attitudes and history.
In such a situation, along with the atmosphere created after problems that were once internal, I find it impossible to stay within the same assembly group. So from today, in the Communist Assembly of Gjilan, I will continue as an independent assemblyist.
After six years of engagement in Movement, I will no longer be part of its structures. However, with a lot of respect for other Movement assemblyists in Gjilan, I hope we will find co-operation space for common topics in the Parliament.
