The vice-president, Kadri Veselini, has been hosting the EU Office Chief in Kosovo today, Nataliya Apostolova, to discuss and co-ordinate further steps in meeting Kosovo's obligations before the entry into force of the removal of the Kosovo visa regime.
Wessel said Kosovo institutions will fulfill all necessary obligations.
According to him, Kosovo's Assembly will fulfil all constitutional obligations in relation to the visa liberalisation process and European integrations, while he also said the legislature would take care of monitoring the full implementation of criteria on the part of Kosovo institutions.
During the meeting, Apostolova has announced Weselini's further steps ahead of the European Union for Kosovo to follow that the visa regime for Kosovo citizens be achieved in the nearest term.
Apostolova praised Kosovo's Parliament Speaker for ratification of the border demarcation agreement between Kosovo and Montenegro, considering this decision a major achievement for Kosovo and urged that institutions focus on strengthening the fight of crime and corruption.
