This tax on heavy tonnage cars is envisioned around 22 euros, the fee for which they are opposed.
“We're cutting borders, we're setting limits”, it was one of the banners placed on protest trucks.
About 150 trucks have entered empty without cargo in Morina in protest against the tax and will return empty to Kosovo. They are importers of salt, cement, and food goods.
This tax was tested this Sunday, while expected to take effect on April 15th.
